Dr Una Adderley

Dr Una Adderley is Director of the National Wound Care Strategy Programme for England. After qualifying as a registered nurse at Guy’s Hospital, London, she began her career in community nursing as a District Nurse and Tissue Viability Specialist Nurse before teaching undergraduate and postgraduate clinicians.
Throughout she has been involved in research and has published widely on wound care, especially leg ulceration. The focus of her career has been to increase evidence-informed wound care and to raise the profile of wound care. She is a Queen’s Nurse and Fellow of the Society of Tissue Viability.
